Continuous Flight Auger Technique

CASED CFA PILES
On reaching founding level, high slump or flow concrete is pumped through the hollow stem auger in a controlled manner ensuring a static head while the auger and casing is extracted simultaneously. Pile arising continue to exit at the head of the casing. The pile reinforcing cage is then inserted into the concrete.CASED CFA PILES
Cased CFA piles are formed by drilling a hollow stemmed auger encased with a string of segmental casing of similar length into the ground to design depth. The drilling system includes twin rotary drive units that turn in opposite directions independently allowing pile arisings to exit at the head of the casing while simultaneously installing the casing. Pile arisings then fall through a full-length telescopic chute to ground level.
Sheet Piles
Sheet piles are installed in sequence to design depth along the planned excavation perimeter or seawall alignment. The interlocked sheet piles form a wall for permanent or temporary lateral earth support with reduced groundwater inflow. Micropiles, also known as minipiles, are a deep foundation element constructed using high-strength, small-diameter steel casing and/or threaded bars or simply constructed as small diameter concrete bored pile with normal steel barsMicro Piles
Micro piles can be installed by various means depending on ground conditions and load requirements. Most commonly, micro piles are designed so that their load bearing capacity is essentially derived from the cross section of the high yield steel reinforcement or tube. The grout or concrete cover provides the protective cover but may also be designed to contribute to the external capacity of the micro pile by virtue of skin friction.
